and I'll say it again, if you've got a local
business then Facebook Ads may be the single greatest
marketing opportunity your business may ever have. So in this video I'm going to reveal the simple yet incredibly
effective video marketing strategy we're using inside the agency to help our clients
get more clicks, leads, and sales for their business. Let's dive in. Hey there my name is Adam Erhart, Modern Marketing Strategist, and welcome to the Modern Marketing Show where we help you make

And hitting that little notification bell. Alright so let's talk Facebook Ads. Specifically, the exact
video ad marketing strategy we're using inside the agency to help our clients
generate thousands of leads across all sorts of different businesses, markets, industries and niches. And the beauty of this
system and the strategy is that not only is it
generating more leads clicks and sales in the short term, but it's also creating
massive brand awareness, and increasing trust, and touchpoints incredibly cost effective
over the long term.
Meaning, if a customer
doesn't even act now they're still more likely to do business with your business in the
future than anyone else. So without further ado, let's dive into the specifics and the five step strategy we're using to create a high converting
Facebook video ad campaigns that truly sell. For a video based
marketing strategy to work obviously gonna need a video. Fortunately, it doesn't need to be a Hollywood level production, and even a good old handheld selfie video can work just fine. The key here is the content more so than the production value. Meaning that your message
speaks to the pains, the frustrations and the wants and desires of your target market. To make things easier for you, I'll make sure to link up
in the description below the exact video ad script that I give to my clients and students so it'll help you create
video ads quickly and easily. Alright, so now that you've got your video it's time to upload it to Facebook and create a video ad with it.
Choose the video views objective and carry on setting up the targeting, placement, and budget for the campaign. My advice if you're working
with a really tight budget is just use the mobile
news feed only placement and if you've got a
little more cash to spend well then you can use all placements and see which one works best. Alright, on to step three. Now that your video is up and running it's time to create two new audiences that we're gonna use
later for retargeting. Audience number one is going to be our three second audience. This gonna be made up of people who've watched at least
three seconds of the video. Audience number two is
gonna be our 50% viewers, and this gonna made up
of people who've watched at least 50% of the video. You can create these audiences by creating a custom audience
based on video engagement, then just choose the
video and the timeline. In this case, we're gonna wanna go with the three second audience
and that 50% audience.
Now it's time to move on to
the secret sauce, step four. Step four is where the strategy really starts to differentiate itself from the traditional video ad campaign. So pay close attention here. It's in this step we're gonna do something that may sound a little
strange on the surface, but what we wanna do is we wanna re-target those three second video viewer audience that we just created with the exact same video. That means we show it to 'em once, if they watch at least three seconds, well we show it to them again. Sounds strange right? Well what we're seeing is
on the second go around people actually consume more of the video, and our cost per view drops significantly. This means cheaper views, more views, and most importantly, longer views.
Which leads us to the
fifth and final step. Now that we have everything up and running it's time to create that final ad to send to people who watch
at least 50% of the video. This ad can be either an
image ad or another video ad. I'd recommend trying
both and seeing which one outperforms the other. The point here however is that this ad can be a little bit more direct because people are already be familiar with you and your business. So don't be shy and make
sure to make that offer and make it really clear and what they need to do to take action.
This final step, step five, is where most video ad
campaigns typically start. Blasting out there message
to completely cold traffic and then wondering why nobody is engaging and nobody is taking action. But by using the strategy
we just talked about it allows you to ramp up the touchpoints, build a lot more brand awareness and essentially establish
a lot more of that no like and trust factor that's gonna be required to
make a conversion or sale. This is especially true because people in general have a cognitive bias to associate frequency with trust so the more you can show up in front of your ideal
target market, the better. Alright so there you have it, an advanced video ad marketing strategy that we're using in
almost every single one of our local clients businesses
